Police fire tear gas at protesting unemployed graduates

UPDATE: (12.44 p.m.) - Police used tear gas and water cannons to disperse the protesting unemployed graduates near the Lotus Roundabout in Colombo, a short while ago.


Lotus Road in Colombo was temporarily closed due to the protest march, said Ada Derana reporter.

Reportedly, the protest march is organized by a group of unemployed graduates.
